Romcoms on the screen, food in hands and love in arms, there are few things more warm and comfortable than this❤. Watching a movie not just helps in entertaining the heart but it also makes the bonds more heartfelt and strong.
Couples often get to see different perspectives and reactions of their beloved and in my case, it serves as an inspiration to my lovely, lovely bucket list 😋😋. Here is a list of my favorite ten, though I won’t mention the story.
😁😁 Spoilers alert ❤ Do try it for yourself 🤓
1. Silver Lining Playbook
Two people try to recreate their life and find love again beating their depression and mistakes. The movie gave me a goal of learning salsa with my man😁 and taught me the difference between love and obsession too.
The guy is obsessed with his ex-wife and the girl with her dead husband, both battle their battles finding love and life again ❤❤❤.
2. Remember Me
My favorite scene is when he comes all broken and the girl who’s already angry and infuriated sees him and holds him saying it’s okay baby, it’s okay.
I love this scene and this movie too. We all have limited time and a purpose, we shouldn’t keep procrastinating or one daytime comes and procrastinates us forever.
3. The Notebook
I loved the movie so much that I forgot my first breakup 😂😂😂. I can’t describe the feeling I get when Noah looks at Ally❤❤❤. The way he tries to talk to her, the way he looks at her, the letters he writes to her, one for a day each until a year❤.
It shows how relationships end but some love stories never. Love is lovelier than any lovely thing and it can beat Alzheimer’s too❤
4. Safe Haven
The lady is running away from her past and in her attempt to find the safe nest, she finds him❤.
A perfect love story by Nicholas Sparks with the dessert of thrill❤
5. What’s Your Number
The movie, though being a romcom taught me the most important part of a relationship and life and that is, that, when relationships go ugly and we split apart, we should leave them as they were, there only.
There is a reason it didn’t work out and dragging it in future is only a waste of time and self-respect ❤
6. Love and Other Drugs
The movie is a lovely combination of romance, comedy and some seriousness. The lady suffers from stage 1 Parkinson and is afraid that she is gonna need the guy more than he does, yet the guy finds her to be the one who completes him❤.
7. An Officer and a Gentleman
The movie not only portrays romance but the harsh realities of life too. The hero of the movie begins his journey with nothing and ends with finding love, both for himself and for her❤.
One of the classics. A must watch indeed. It’s one of those life changing movies which will make you question yourself. A beautiful portrayal of the emotions and tough times.
8. P.S I Love You
The movie shows the infinite love that can’t be killed with time or death. Holly finds love again, but in shoe designing. After her husband’s death, she gets a series of letters and finds love again, but not in a person, within herself ❤
9. Pretty Woman
One of the classics and my all time favorite. The lady dreams if a fairytale and in the end it does come true. Even though the lady is a hooker, the story still remains classic and pure. One of the best love stories ever made❤
10. The Ugly Truth
The perfect example of opposites attract. The story begins with the guy helping the lady to hitch the guy she has a crush on and ends with the hero falling for the heroine. The story also has a lesson of being yourself and why pretending to be someone else for love doesn’t work.❤
