Everything you need to know about dark circles- Causes and Natural Treatments.

Dark circles are the bags under your eyes that make the area around your eyes look darker and tiresome.
It is the most common issue every other person faces these days. It surfaces due to busy lives and majorly due to change in lifestyles. With accelerating technology, we keep our eyes immersed in smart phones, laptops or TVs throughout the day. Without we realizing the consequences, mirror reflects them strongly.
Dark circles look ugly, they ruin our candid pictures, make us look sleep deprived and bother us to much extent.

To eradicate them, we must know the root cause. So, let us know what causes them:

1. Lack of sleep
2. Stress
3. Hereditary issue
4. Sleeping with makeup on.
5. Too much exposure to sun.
6. Aging
7. Rubbing and irritating your eyes
8. Dehydration

You can overcome these issues by changing your daily routines and a bit of your lifestyle. Take plenty of sleep, meditate to stay positive, follow a night time skin care routine, drink enough glasses of water, etc.
These steps are effective for long term results.

If you want instant solution to dark circles, I have compiled some easy remedies that will help you get rid of dark circles:

1. Cool down your eyes with cucumber slice.
Vitamin K present in cucumber lightens the dark circles and improves the blood circulation around your eyes.
Take 2 round slices of cucumber and place them on your eyes for 10 minutes. Do this daily for at least 10days to see the results.

Tip: Use refrigerated cucumber for better results.

2. Apply a layer of Aloe Vera gel around your eyes.
You can either use fresh Aloe Vera gel or packed Aloe Vera gel available in market.
Before you go to sleep, gently massage the area under your eyes with Aloe Vera gel and leave it overnight.
Do this regularly and you will see your dark circles will disappear within two weeks.

3. Sweet almond oil is another helpful ingredient.
Apply few drops of almond oil around your eyes and massage in circular motions with your fingers. Do this before you sleep and wash off the next morning.
Repeat this for 15 days to say goodbye to dark circles. Vitamin-E in almond oil will help you get rid of dark circles.

4. Think twice before your discard your green tea bags.
They are immensely beneficial to cure dark circles. Instead of discarding them, keep them in a refrigerator for a while. Once they become chilled, place them on your eyes for 10 minutes. Then wash off your face.
Tannins present in green tea will refresh your eyes and improve the colour of under-nourished skin under your eyes.

5. Remedy without any ingredient.
Yes this remedy doesn’t require any ingredient but a pair of tools, i.e., 2 spoons.
Place 2 spoons in freezer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, take them out and instantly keep them (with concave side touching your eyelids) on your eyes until they get warm.
This will also help in reducing puffiness under your eyes.
